The Annual Yellow Springs 4th of July Parade & Fireworks is back again and will take place on Sunday, July 4th, 2021.
4th OF JULY PARADE: Parade participants are invited to line up no earlier than 2:15 pm at the Friends Care Community Center round-a-bout. Please note that due to COVID restrictions, the public is not permitted entry or access to the facility.
The 4th of July Parade, led by Mayor Pam Conine, begins at 3:00 pm and includes local residents, community groups, and service organizations, such as Miami Township Fire Rescue.
Heading through the Village, the parade will come to an end at the intersection of Route 68 & Corry Street.
GAUNT PARK FIREWORKS: The Community Band will kick off the Gaunt Park Fireworks event with LIVE music, while the Young's Jersey Dairy food truck offers tasty treats to the public. The Fireworks display will take place shortly after sundown on the 4th of July. The public is encouraged to bring chairs and blankets while enjoying the festivities and to use waste receptacles throughout the evening to help maintain the park.
Donation opportunities will also be available to help sustain the annual Yellow Springs 4th of July Parade & Fireworks at Gaunt Park tradition.

PARKING
The Gaunt Park lot will be emptied, starting at 5 pm on Sunday, July 4th, in preparation for the festivities. Authorized vehicles (including handicap) will be admitted based upon event specifications.
HANDICAP PARKING: Limited handicap parking is available at Gaunt Park, as the lot is secured for emergency vehicles only. Assistance provided at park entrance.
NO PARKING on Gaunt Park field/grass areas. Caution tape will be displayed as a boundary reminder.
NO PARKING NO PARKING on the following streets: • West S. College • Wright Street • Talus Drive *Towing of violators will be strongly enforced. All towed cars will be delivered to Xenia for owner pick-up.

Yellow Springs High school: 420 E Enon Rd.
Antioch University Midwest: 900 Dayton St.
* Please ensure that all cars are locked.
* Both sites are within walking distance of the event.
* Shuttle service not provided
MIDNIGHT SWIM
The Gaunt Park Pool is hosting the#YS4thofJuly"Midnight Swim" on Sunday, July 4th - immediately following the fireworks.
COST: $5 per person / Passes not accepted.
All regular pool/facility rules apply!
Gaunt Park Pool is an alcohol-free & family-friendly facility.
