PROCESS FOR APPLYING TO COUNCIL SEAT SPRING 2022
Following the process established by Council for the selection of a candidate to replace a resigning Council member, as followed in 2013 and 2018 and as permitted by the Charter, interested parties should follow the information below in applying for the Council seat to be vacated by May 16, 2022.
All applicants must submit a letter of interest. This can be as brief or as detailed as you wish, and you may attach supporting information if you choose.
All letters of interest must be received by the Clerk of Council no later than NOON, MONDAY, MAY 2, 2022.
All persons submitting letters will be expected to attend Council’s May 2nd meeting to give a bio and statement of position/interest and to answer any brief Council questions.
Council MAY make a final decision at the end of the May 2nd meeting. They may also choose to hold the decision until May 16th.
