UPDATE (9/18/24)
Today, crews will continue their work on W. South College Street near Gaunt Park, again with a detour set up. This work will likely continue through next week. Please plan accordingly to avoid delays.

There will be a detour set up on W. South College Street near Gaunt Park today as crews work to install new water lines. Please plan travel accordingly to avoid delays.
UPDATE (9/6/24) Water main crews will begin work this Monday, September 9, at the intersection of US 68 and OH 343. The northbound lane will be closed, but traffic will still flow. However, please plan accordingly, as this will cause delays.
UPDATE (8/28/24)
Crews are finishing up on W. Davis Street this week, and will move to W. North College Street next week. There may be disruptions to traffic flows, so please plan accordingly.
UPDATE (8/14/24)
Crews are finishing up on E. Center College Street this afternoon, and will be moving on to W. Davis Street tomorrow. As always, there may be disruptions to traffic flows, so please plan accordingly.
UPDATE (7/29/24) This week, crews are finishing up their work on W. Center College Street, and then moving on to E. Center College Street to connect services and re-pave. Note that there may be disruptions to traffic flows in these areas as this work is completed.
UPDATE (7/22/24) On Tuesday, July 23, crews will return to E. Center College and W. Center College Streets to finalize their work there for the Water Main Replacement Project. This includes connecting services to residences and re-paving effected streets. Note that there may be disruptions to traffic flows in these areas as this work is completed.
UPDATE (7/11/24) On Monday, July 15, crews will begin water main replacement at the intersection of US 68 and OH 343. Be advised that this work will impact traffic flows until completed.
UPDATE (6/3/24) YS Public Works crews continue water main replacement on Dawson Street. This work should be completed this week.
Crews will then move to the intersection of US 68 and OH 343 next week. Be advised that this work will impact traffic flows until completed.
UPDATE (5/13/24) YS Public Works crews continue water main replacement on King Street this week. Additionally, crews will move to Dawson Street to begin work there. The anticipated window for work on both streets is 2 weeks.
Beginning on June 3, crews will begin water main replacement at the intersection of US 68 and OH 343. Be advised that this work will impact traffic flows until completed.
UPDATE (5/9/24) YS Public Works crews are relocating to King Street today to begin water main replacement. They will be working there all of next week.
UPDATE (4/29/24) Crews continue their work with the ongoing Water Main Replacement Project. The project is currently on W. Center College and W. Davis Streets. Expect traffics delays and disruptions in these areas.
UPDATE (4/22/24) Today, YS Public Works crews will begin connecting services from the replaced water mains to residences on W. Center College Street.
Crews are also moving to W. Davis Street to begin water main replacement between High Street and Xenia Avenue.
Note that this work may result in minor traffic disruptions.

YS Public Works crews are set to continue their Water Main Replacement Project this week, beginning around the intersection of Tully and W. Center College Streets. Crews will move west as their work progresses. Note that this work may result in minor traffic disruptions.

YS Public Works crews are continuing to work along W. Center College Street. Over the course of the next week, crews will begin moving into different locations as this project progresses. Updates to follow as more information becomes available.
ORIGINAL POST (3/19/24)
YS Public Works crews are wrapping up water main replacement on E. Center College, and will soon move to W. Center College to begin work there. As these new water mains come online, testing may result in brown water for some residents. Be advised that this is only temporary, and it is recommended to run cold water (until clear) to flush the lines.
