Board of Zoning Appeals

Appeals from decisions of the Village Manager in the administration of the zoning and building codes shall be taken to the Board of Appeals where they shall be decided by a vote of a majority of the quorum of the Board. Decisions of the Board of Appeals may be appealed to Council. The Board of Appeals shall consist of five members, each appointed for a term of five years. The initial appointment shall be of five members having terms of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 years so that one term shall expire each year. Appointments to the Board shall be made by the Village Council.

The Board of Zoning Appeals meets as required (which is scheduled by the Planning Office) in Council Chambers on the Second Floor of the John Bryan Community Center.
