The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) considers requests for dimensional variances and hears administrative appeals regarding alleged errors or misinterpretations in the administration of the Village zoning code. The BZA may also approve the reconstruction of nonconforming uses or expansion of nonconforming structures but may not grant variances to allow uses that are not otherwise permitted in a zoning district (non - dimensional variances). The Zoning Administrator serves as technical staff to the BZA.
The Board of Zoning Appeals meets as required (which is scheduled by the Planning Office) in Council Chambers on the Second Floor of the John Bryan Community Center.
